where only two in in the 1790 census William and Darling and both of
them where in Dutchess County. I have just started in NY have been
working on them mostly in NJ and Ohio I need to do NY and PA. There
where some conroe"s that came from Ireland, I have no conrow's in
Schoharie County in 1790,1800,1810,1820,1830, and 1840. This doesn't
mean they wasn't there but they were not in the census records. I may

Charles, I have a Jacob Conrow b. Dec.1 1790, married to Betsy the
only child I have with them is Samuel b. Aug 21, 1813. But that
doesn't mean that there are no other children, I am just getting
started in NY. I think the first two Conrow's in NY where William and
Darling I am finding a little information on William but Darling is a
different story. William was born in NJ Middletown in Monmouth Co.
April 16 1756 and died in Livingston Co. NY in oct 5 1833, his wifes
name is Ruth Ann born abt 1884 and died Jan 16 1856. I have three
sons but there could be more the ones I have are William I., John W.
and Stephen. I have a Jacob b. abt 1806 in NY and his wifes name was
Jane b. abt 1817.

I have not researched PROPER family line so much as just using
citation from others materials.
The scource I have for most of my PROPER line was "Proper Family
History" by Lewis G. Proper published 1996, a 500+ page volume of
the PROPER family lines
Searching that for your Issac CONRO I found this text :
" Eva PROPER dau of Zacharias PROPER and Catharine WILSON of
Livingston Manor, Albany co, (now Columbia co,) NY:bapt. 17 Apr
1774; m. 14 Jul 1789, Bangall, Dutchess co, NY, Isacc CONRO " and
follows is a list of their children.
Jacob, bapt 01 Dec 1790
Catharina bapt 02 Feb 1794
Jane bapt 25 Apr 1796
David bapt 25 May 1798
John bapt 29 May 1800
Peter William bapt 14 Jun 1811
each baptisim was noted and each was from a different location in
This is as far down the line this publication goes on this family
goes back with the siblings, parents and ancestors of Eva PROPER more
Hope this helps and gives you new leads to follow in your
